Sometimes the skyline is obvious and distinct. The sun is bright, skies are clear, and the world is visible for miles and miles.
At these moments, we know where we stand. The path ahead is obvious.
At other times (most times?), the horizon is obscured and veiled. The way forward is ambiguous. The path is hidden. We (okay, I) stub our toes on roots and walk through spider webs. Eww.
The memes say “Get comfortable with discomfort.”
Easier said than done.
How about simply resting in the faith that the horizon is still there, even if shrouded behind a bunch of trees? Embrace the knowing that though the sun sets, it will rise again. Dense clouds today will soon give way to the sun and all the clarity a skyline brings.
All in perfect timing.
